Terms and conditions for buying on-line
The following terms and conditions apply to all products, which can be purchased via Solspejlets netshop. The same conditions apply to mail order purchasing.
Prices
All prices on items shown or described on www.solspejlet.dk/netshop include 25% VAT. Shipment of goods to countries outside EU are without VAT (20% is deducted from the products price), and the customer is responsible for the registration and payment of any applicable taxes.
It is possible to choose currency: Danish crowns (DKK), euro (EUR) or US dollars (USD).
Customers can choose one of the following methods of payment: Dankort, credit card (Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard), check and bank transfer. For customers outside Denmark it is only possible to pay by credit card.
Payment and shipment
Shipping rates are determined by the total weight of purchased items.
Denmark: 0-400g DKK 35; 400-800g DKK 45; 800g-4kg DKK 55; 4-9kg DKK 70; 9-14kg DKK 98; 14-19kg DKK 110.
EU, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Norway and Switzerland: 0-400g DKK 60; 400-800g DKK 90; 800g-1.5kg DKK 150; 1.5-2.3kg DKK 170; 2.3-3kg DKK 180; thereafter DKK 10 for each additional kg.
All other countries: 0-400g DKK 85; 400-800g DKK 130; 800g-1.5kg DKK 190; 1.5-2.3kg DKK 215; 2.3-3kg DKK 240; thereafter DKK 25,- for each additional kg. Such parcels will be sent per CarryOn Budget.
Orders of DKK 2.000,- or more will be shipped free of charge in Denmark, and as far as the Danish border for export orders.
Institutions in Denmark will receive with the shipment an invoice, which is to be paid 14 days from the billing date. Institutions outside Denmark must pay in advance.
All prepaid orders will be sent as soon as possible after payment has been registered by us. Should one or more items of the order be out of stock or for some other reason cannot be sent within 7 workdays, the customer will be contacted via e-mail with information as to the expected date of dispatch.
Returns
Solspejlet will normally accept goods returned within 14 days from date of receipt. If more time is required, particularly for foreign customers, please state so in the space provided on the dispatch page. Returns must be accompanied by a copy of the purchase confirmation. Products must be unused and in the original packaging together with any leaflets, instructions or other information which belong to it. All costs in connection with the return of goods will be paid by the customer. Return items must be securely packed together with the original packing material, and they will be carefully inspected by us on arrival. Provided that the goods are in fine, resellable condition, the full amount will be refunded by transferral to the customers account. Shipping costs cannot be refunded. If, on the other hand, the items condition is such that it cannot be resold at full price, the customer will be contacted immediately.
In the event of a mistake in an order or if any part of an order has suffered damage under transportation, the customer must contact us as quickly as possible, and preferably latest 3 weekdays after receipt of goods, so that we can either correct the mistake or make the necessary arrangements for return of damaged goods. As a rule the local postal authority has to be notified by the recipient if a package has been damaged.
Solspejlet does not accept any returns sent cash on delivery.
Any item, which shows a defect in manufacturing (not damage caused by either wear and tear or abuse) within two years of the purchase date, will be replaced or refunded, provided that the customer can show proof of purchase and only after it has been established by either Solspejlet or the manufacturer that the item is indeed defect. We request that the customer notifies us before sending any defect article.
Confidentiality
Solspejlet records only the relevant personal details, provided by the customer, which are necessary for the execution of an order. All such information is treated completely confidentially by Solspejlet. Customers data will not be sold, lent or otherwise shared with a third party. Danish law requires however that shops file all records of purchase for at least five years.
Conditions
By accessing this site you are agreeing to the terms and conditions stated on this page. Solspejlet cannot guarantee that www.solspejlet.dk/netshop, its servers or e-mails are free of error or infection, or are in service at all times, nor can Solspejlet take responsibility for any loss or inconvenience caused thereby. The use of this web-site is the responsibility of the customer only. All areas of this site are subject to change without notice, including product pricing, product availability and conditions of sale.
Security
Payments by cash-card and credit card are subject to Danish law and the rules for online-payment in Denmark. Card number, expiry date and control-digits are communicated directly from our secure page on the customers browser (look for the little padlock symbol) to PBS (which is our authorized clearing house) and can never be read on our computers or by our employees. We do not implement your payment until the day of dispatch.
When purchasing online the customer receives an order confirmation via e-mail. We recommend that this be kept, as it is the proof of purchase. When payment is by check a cash register receipt will be sent with the shipment. With payment by bank transfer a written receipt will be sent with the shipment.
