Artemis

Artemis plant-dye colours are based on centuries-old knowledge of natural pigments but are produced using modern processes, which eliminate the use of heavy metals. Mellow, harmonious, lively colours with natural aroma.

* Pigments are extracted from madder-root, indigo, buckthorn berries, lac-dye, mignonette, coreopsis flowers and catechu-acacie sap.

Crayons - Long square sticks with a blend of plant wax and plant pigments.
For drawing on paper with some texture.

Watercolour - in tubes, paintboxes and glass jars. For painting on paper, both wet-into-wet and glazing technique.

Colour pencils - thick natural cedar pencils in 10 colours. For drawing and writing.

Modelling beeswax - 16 blocks of pure beeswax with plant dyes in 8 colours. Softened by the heat of the hands.

Face paint - safe for even small children to use. In glass jars with 7 different colours.

Stockmar

The colours in Stockmar's range are based on the twelve-part colour wheel, as described by Goethe in his theory of colour.

Aquarelle - brilliant watercolours. For wet-into-wet and glazing-technique. 19 colours in plastic jars. Economical to use.

Modelling beeswax - Transparent, bright colours. Softens in the hands or on a heater or in warm water. Clean to use, no crumbling or smearing. 15 colours.

Decorating wax - Ultrathin sheets of bright coloured wax which is easy to cut or nip off and form. For decorating candles, Easter eggs, jars and boxes. 18 colours.
